As a high school history teacher by day, I find myself immersed in the stories of the past, a passion that drives my creativity every day. Always in need of a creative outlet I love expressing myself through art of all kinds.

Living in New Orleans, I draw inspiration from its rich culture, lively music, and the unique beauty that fills my everyday life. My husband and I love to travel around the world on our breaks from school. These trips further ignite my imagination, allowing me to incorporate diverse influences into my work.

I like to explore various media, including watercolor, acrylic, and collage, each piece reflecting the things I see and love. Speaking of the things I love, the name “The Pig and Frank” comes from my very best friends: Frank, our cat and Effie (who we called Pig) our dog. We lost Effie last year and a part of my heart went with her. I hope this is a way to keep her sweet spirit alive.
